Elements of professional working
... with a strong bias to Information Technology (IT)
Every now and then you hear phrases like "she is a real professional", "this brochure is done professionally" or "this project was not carried out very professionally".
Everybody seems to know what that is: professional work, until I asked the question "What does working professionally really mean"? The answers were scare. But by the time I could collect a number of elements filling this word with meaning.
I grouped these elements into
- An e-mail discussion on the list of former SHARE Europe members during 1997.
- Input from various «personal skills» sessions at the SHARE Europe conferences 1982 to 1994.
- The work as an officer in that organisation (limited time is a good teacher!).
- My own working experience both as an employee and self employed at D+DD.
