daube.ch - help

More than navigation access route to pages is necessary for visitors to find their way.
There are two navigation bars on each page of the daube.ch site (on in the header and one in the footer):

• To reach the areas of the site (Business, Documentation issues, etc.)
  A short description of the area contents is given on the welcome page.
• To navigate within and between pages
  The icons of this bar is explained here.

Navigation bar

	To the entry page (welcome page)
	One level up to the start page of this section / area.
	* TO first page of this section.
	* To previous page of this section. If you are already at the first page of the section, nothing happens.
	* To next page of this section. If you are already at the last page, the first page will be displayed.
	To bottom / top of current page.
	To the search page. Only the daube.ch site is searched, not the whole Internet...
	To Table of Contents page, sort of site map.
	A feed-back webform is pesented to send a message to the webmaster.

Icons with * act by means of JavaScript.
These functions are not available if your browser does not understand JavaScript or you have disabled this function.

Strange text appearing on page

If you see text starting with an & (such as "author’s collection"), Your browser does not support all characters from the HTML 4.x repertoire. Netscape 6 and IE 5.x can handle this, Opera 7 also.

With the letter symbol you get a web-form to send a note to the web-master. Use this feature to ...

• report display problems (please state your browser and version);
• report missing content which you expect on a site like this;
• report an error (e.g. severe spelling error) on a page. Please provide the URL of the page (e.g. ddd/work17.html).

HTML version

This site tries to avoid latest technology hype and uses HTML «4.0 transitional», CSS1 style sheets and ECMA JavaScript.

This site was tested successfully with CSE HTML Validator, Opera 4.0 - 5.11, Netscape 4.75 & 6.x as well as IE 4.0 and IE 5.5. Nevertheless problems may occur, because many (especially the 'large') browsers are reluctant with standards-conformity...
